Chiropractic Adjustments

One of the things I love most about chiropractic is having lots of "tools in my toolbox."

The primary hands-on technique I use is called the Diversified Technique, which is the traditional chiropractic adjustment most people are familiar with. Using quick, precise movements, adjustments help restore motion to joints that aren't moving the way they should. You may hear a click or pop during the adjustment, which is simply gas being released from the joint, similar to cracking your knuckles.

In addition to traditional manual adjustments, I also use Thompson Drop, Flexion-Distraction, and Extremity Adjusting for areas such as the shoulders, jaw (TMJ), wrists, hips, knees, and ankles. I also offer instrument-assisted adjusting, which is described below.

Instrument-Assisted Adjusting (ArthroStim®)

Kids call it the "bubble machine." Adults call it the "woody woodpecker," the "jackhammer," or the "power tool." Whatever you call it, it's one of the gentlest adjusting techniques I use.

The ArthroStim® is a handheld adjusting instrument that delivers quick, precise impulses using very little force. Many patients enjoy this technique because it's gentle, comfortable, and doesn't involve twisting or large movements.

Instrument-assisted adjusting is a great option for patients who prefer a lighter adjustment, are nervous about traditional manual adjustments, or simply respond better to this style of care. I use it frequently with adults, children, and during pregnancy when it's the best fit for the patient.

Pregnancy Care & Webster Technique

Pregnancy changes your body almost daily. Your care should change with it.

Pregnancy is amazing... but it can also be uncomfortable.

As your baby grows, your posture changes, your center of gravity shifts, and your joints and muscles are constantly adapting. It's no surprise that many moms experience back pain, pelvic pain, hip pain, or just feel like nothing is moving the way it used to.

As a Webster Certified chiropractor, I have additional training in caring for pregnant patients. Every visit is tailored to where you are in your pregnancy, how you're feeling that day, and what your body needs.

My goal isn't just to help you feel better while you're pregnant. It's to help you enjoy your pregnancy a little more.

Pediatric Chiropractic Care

Babies and kids aren't tiny adults.

I love working with babies and kids. I've completed extensive pediatric training through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and continue to pursue additional education because I believe our youngest patients deserve specialized care.

I also believe the best care happens when providers work together. As a leader in the Pediatric Professionals of Northwest Indiana network, I enjoy collaborating with lactation consultants, midwives, pediatric dentists, pediatricians, pelvic floor therapists, and other healthcare professionals to help families feel supported. Whether we're helping with feeding challenges, co-managing oral ties, addressing torticollis or plagiocephaly, or caring for a child after a sports injury or everyday bumps and tumbles, my goal is to make sure your child receives thoughtful, well-rounded care.
